From the photogenic village of Blatten you float up to Belalp: skiing to 3,112 m with full Aletsch glacier views, and summer walks along centuries-old Suonen water channels.
In winter: Skiing up to 3,112 m and, in January, the legendary Belalp Hexe: a 12 km folk race with over 1,500 costumed "witches".
In summer: Suonen trails, the Aletschbord viewpoint and the suspension bridge over the Massa gorge towards Riederalp.
